  7. <H3>AmigaOS</H3>
  8.  
  9. <STRONG>Memory:</STRONG> Well, this mostly depends on your input-data. 
  10. To process reasonable sized pages, about 300K of free ram should be enough. 
  11. For large pages
  12. and projects using loads of documents, this can increase to 1MB or even
  13. more, so your machine should have at least 2MB of memory.<BR>
  14.  
  15. <STRONG>Stack:</STRONG> A stack value of12KB usually should be sufficient; 
  16. at least, this worked for these documents.<BR>
  17.  
  18. <STRONG>AmigaOS and CPU:</STRONG> Basically, it works on an 
  19. A2000 with AmigaOS 2.04 and a plain 68000,
  20. but as this isn't much fun, the binaries are compiled for 68020. 
  21. As <hsc> is not one of the fastest, a 68040 is recommended.<BR>

  23. <H3>Other OS</H3>
  24.  
  25. <P>Any other OS <hsc> is known to work with requires more hardware to boot
  26. the machine then <hsc> will ever be abel to request.</P>

  28. <H2>Knownledge requirements</H2>
  29.  
  30. <P><hsc> is not a tool for beginners. It does not make html easier. It only
  31. makes it a bit less painful and brain-damaged - that's all. Therefor, these
  32. documents asume that you are already familiar with html and <make>
  33. (If you also want to utilize the <A HREF="project/index.html">project managment 
  34. capabilities</A>).</P>

  36. <P>There exists several sources for beginners, and this won't be
  37. page #1876545 which lists these sources (But I'm frightened, the
  38. section about <ln_related> has degenerated to one of these pages..).</P>

  40. <P>As <hsc> is a CLI-only-tool, any knownledge of how to work with
  41. mouse and icons is not required.</P>
